Netflix rolls out new Polish series and true‑crime documentary

Netflix premiered the third season of the Polish satirical series “1670” at the New Horizons festival, showing three episodes to festival audiences before their public release. The event also announced a forthcoming screen adaptation of the classic novel “Lalka”, starring Tomasz Schuchardt and Sandra Drzymalska, with details on directors and writers.

In addition, Netflix’s documentary “Instinct of a Mother” entered the platform’s Top 10. The film recounts the case of a young woman from east‑Texas who gave birth in a car, was arrested, and ultimately received a death sentence, exploring how the crime was concealed for years.
