Netflix rolls out 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' Part 2 and 'Pan Am 103' miniseries

Netflix announced the release of two new series. The second part of its adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez’s novel *One Hundred Years of Solitude* will debut on August 5, with the concluding episode arriving on August 26. The Spanish‑language production, filmed entirely in Colombia, features a cast that includes Julián Román, María Adelaida Puerta, Ángela Cano, Carla Baratta, Daniella Reyes, Juanita Molina, Claudio Cataño and Marleyda Soto.

In parallel, Netflix launched a six‑episode dramatized miniseries titled *Bomba en el Pan Am 103* on July 30, 2026. The series recreates the 1988 Locker Boxer disaster that killed hundreds when a Pan Am flight exploded over the Scottish village of Lockerbie. It follows the investigation from multiple perspectives, highlighting the international repercussions of the tragedy.
