Netflix schedules Enola Holmes 3 release for July 1 and drops new trailer

Netflix released the first official trailer for Enola Holmes 3, confirming the film will debut on the streaming platform on July 1. The teaser shows teenage detective Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) juggling her upcoming wedding to Tewkesbury with a sudden kidnapping of her brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill), which sends her on a new case in Malta.

The sequel is directed by Philip Barantini, who replaces Harry Bradbeer, and is scripted by Jack Throne. The cast also includes Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, Susan Wokoma, Helena Bonham Carter and Henry Cavill. The adventure is set to expand the popular Netflix franchise following the success of the first two installments.

The film will be added to Netflix’s catalogue on Thursday, July 1, giving subscribers worldwide immediate access to the new installment of the Enola Holmes series.
