Netflix sees high engagement with psychological thrillers and Harlan Coben adaptations

Netflix continues to see significant engagement through its psychological thriller and mystery offerings. The platform’s catalog features a variety of suspenseful content designed to manipulate viewer perception and explore human psychology through complex narratives and tension.

A notable success is the series ‘I Will Find You’ (Ovunque tu sia), based on the novel by Harlan Coben and starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower. The series, which follows a father’s search for his son after receiving a clue that he may still be alive, has become one of the top ten most-watched English-language original series in Netflix history. While the show’s massive viewership has led to calls for a second season, the future of the adaptation remains subject to the typical conclusion of Coben’s literary adaptations.
