Stan announces ‘McLeod’s Daughters’ reboot for 2027

The Australian streaming service Stan has announced a reboot of the iconic rural drama ‘McLeod’s Daughters’. Produced by Werner Film Productions, the new series will return to the setting of Drover’s Run.

Originally airing on the Nine Network, the series was created by Posie Graham-Evans. The reboot aims to maintain the spirit of the original by focusing on resilient women navigating life and connection in a modern agricultural setting. While specific cast members have not yet been confirmed, the project marks a significant return for a series that originally spanned 224 episodes.

In addition to the ‘McLeod’s Daughters’ revival, Stan revealed several other upcoming projects, including the legal drama ‘Slander’ starring Rachel Griffiths, the series ‘Stuck Up & Stupid’ starring Angourie Rice, and a second season of the medical drama ‘The F Ward’.
