Netflix's 'I Will Find You' tops global charts as new thriller series
The eight‑part Netflix miniseries I Will Find You, adapted from Harlan Coben’s 2023 novel, premiered on 18 June 2026. Starring Sam Worthington as David Burroughs, a man wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of his son, the plot follows his discovery that the child may still be alive, his escape from prison and a frantic search aided by journalist sister‑in‑law Rachel Mills (Britt Lower) and other allies.
Within 24 hours the series reached the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s Top 10 in Portugal, Brazil, the United States and worldwide, according to FlixPatrol data. Critics gave mixed reviews – Rotten Tomatoes scores around 65 % and audience scores near 56 % – noting implausible twists but praising the fast‑paced, binge‑friendly storytelling and the cast, which also includes Milo Ventimiglia, Erin Richards, Madeleine Stowe and Chi McBride.
The show's success continues Netflix’s string of Coben adaptations and has sparked speculation about a second season, while the author’s broader catalogue promises further adaptations such as The Woods and Myron Bolitar.
