Netflix series Outer Banks to release final season in August 2026

The Netflix adventure series ‘Outer Banks’ will conclude with its fifth and final season, scheduled for release on August 20, 2026. The final installment will consist of ten episodes, each approximately one hour long, released simultaneously in a single drop.

The plot follows the Pogues as they deal with the aftermath of the tragic death of their friend JJ in Morocco and the loss of the Blue Crown to Chandler Groff. To survive threats from Dalia’s Corsairs and the Kooks, characters John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo must form an uneasy alliance with their rival, Rafe.

Returning cast members include Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Drew Starkey, and Carlacia Grant. New additions to the cast for this season include Tony Crane and Cullen Moss.
