Netflix spin-off Arrivals begins filming details revealed

Production details have been released for ‘Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery’, the first spin-off of the series Manifest. The production is scheduled to film in Vancouver, British Columbia, from January 19, 2027, to June 9, 2027.

While the original series was primarily filmed in New York, the new story is set in Denver. The plot follows the aftermath of a mysterious plane crash-landing in Denver, where passengers emerge with no memory of their identities or origins. A social worker and a Homeland Security agent will team up with the arrivals to prevent a catastrophe.

Character breakdowns have been revealed for the ensemble cast, including Zoe, a compassionate social worker; Mike Deaver, a former Air Force pilot working for Homeland Security; and Wes, a protective man living off the grid. Jeff Rake returns as co-creator and co-showrunner alongside Margaret Easley and Laura Putney. While a release date has not been confirmed, the series may arrive as early as 2028.
