Institutional investors adjust stakes in Fortinet, Netflix, NRG Energy

Sarasin & Partners LLP reduced its holding in Fortinet Inc. by 96.6%, selling 1.47 million shares and ending the quarter with 50,901 shares valued at about $7.8 million. Other investors, including Florida Financial Advisors and GW&K Investment Management, modestly increased their Fortinet positions. Fortinet’s stock fell 2.4% and the company has a market capitalization of roughly $117 billion.

Netflix shares have slipped 19% year‑to‑date, with analysts estimating a fair value of $82 per share, about 10% below the recent closing price of $73.56. The stock faces heightened competition from YouTube Premium’s bundling of Peacock and NBCUniversal sports content, raising concerns about pricing power and ad‑revenue growth.

Assenagon Asset Management S.A. boosted its stake in NRG Energy by 96.3%, acquiring an additional 474,474 shares to hold 967,264 shares, representing 0.46% of the utility and valued at $141.3 million. Several other institutions, such as State Street Corp and Victory Capital Management, also altered their NRG holdings. Analysts have set price targets for NRG ranging from $184 to $210.

A technical analysis of Netflix notes a bullish reversal pattern on the weekly chart, including a 200‑day moving‑average bounce, a falling‑wedge breakout, and RSI divergence. The report values Netflix at an intrinsic $120, suggesting the stock trades at a 40% discount and could rise toward $123 if the pattern holds.
