Directed by James Ashcroft and based on the bestseller by Alex North, the film features an A-list cast including Robert De Niro, Adam Scott, Michael Keaton, and Michelle Monaghan. However, viewers have expressed disappointment, frequently citing a ‘boring screenplay’ and ‘generic darkness.’

On major review platforms, the film has struggled to maintain high scores. Rotten Tomatoes shows a 42 percent critic score and a 43 percent audience score, while Metacritic lists a score of 52 for the press and 5.2 for viewers. Despite the lukewarm reception, the film’s popularity in the streaming rankings remains high.
