Netflix to adapt Richard Osman's novel We Solve Murders into a drama series

Netflix is developing a drama series adaptation of Richard Osman’s novel “We Solve Murders”. This follows the previous film adaptation of Osman’s debut, “The Thursday Murder Club”.

Author Richard Osman confirmed the project is in development during an appearance on “The One Show”, describing the news as “very exciting”. While specific details regarding the cast, crew, and release date remain unknown, Osman indicated he intends to be involved in the adaptation process. He noted that the story features beautiful locations, including St. Lucia and the south of Ireland.

The plot of “We Solve Murders” follows Steve Wheeler, a retiree who becomes involved in a global race after his daughter-in-law, Amy, sends an SOS regarding a murder and a bag of money.
