Netflix to expand content with new thrillers and series

Netflix is expanding its content library with a focus on dark detective stories, psychological thrillers, and high-tension dramas. The platform is seeing a growing trend in viewers seeking complex narratives and character depth alongside traditional action.

Upcoming releases for late 2026 include several notable titles. In mid-September, the platform will debut 'The Doll', a modern adaptation of a classic Polish novel by Bolesław Prus. Other scheduled releases include 'The Fixers', a crime-political drama, and 'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story', a historical series centered on the 19th-century murder case.

Additionally, the platform is set to continue popular franchises, including new installments in the 'Stranger Things' universe.
