Netflix to film new The Inbetweeners movie with original cast

Production company Banijay confirmed a partnership with creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley to revive the British comedy series The Inbetweeners for a Netflix feature film. All four original male leads – Simon Bird, James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison – have signed on to reprise their roles.

Netflix is reported to be moving forward with the project and is also seeking to bring back actress Emily Atack for the role of Charlotte Hinchcliffe, which she missed in a previous reunion plan. The script is said to be completed and production preparations are underway, with the reunion expected to attract the franchise’s long‑time fans.
