Netflix to host Luke Littler darts challenge

Netflix will broadcast a live sporting event titled ‘Beat Luke Littler’ on October 30, 2026, at Manchester Central. The competition features 24 contestants, aged 14 to 57, who will each have one opportunity to defeat the two-time PDC World Champion in a standard leg of 501 to win a £501,000 prize.

While the event was marketed as a chance for everyday players to challenge the professional, the lineup has faced criticism from fans. Viewers have noted the inclusion of several ranked Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) players, such as Fallon Sherrock, among the contestants.

The field includes a diverse group of participants, such as a bin worker, a restaurant manager, and an Australian jockey. Among the notable competitors are Irish players Katie Sheldon, a youth tournament winner, and Pearse Mackle, a former Irish youth representative.
