Netflix to launch Dutch version of ‘Love is Blind’

Netflix is launching a Dutch version of the reality dating series ‘Love is Blind’. The first season features thirty singles—fifteen men and fifteen women—who participate in a social experiment where they attempt to form emotional connections through conversation without seeing one another.

Participants interact through walls in separate rooms, focusing on personality and deep conversation rather than physical appearance. If a connection is made, the participants may propose marriage before ever meeting in person. Once a proposal is accepted, the participants meet face-to-face for the first time.
