Netflix to premiere Tamil series ‘#Love’ on October 2

The Tamil romantic comedy series ‘#Love’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 2. Directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by showrunner Soundarya Rajinikanth, the series stars Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

The plot centers on the rivalry between the founders of two competing dating apps, ‘FOUND’ and ‘Find My Bae’. The story follows characters Tara and Matthew, who have successfully built businesses to match others but struggle to find connection themselves.

Monika Shergill, Vice President of Content for Netflix India, noted that the series is part of an increased investment in storytelling from South India. The production aims to provide a modern, contemporary take on the rom-com genre.
