Netflix to Produce 'The Inbetweeners' Reunion Film

Netflix is reportedly developing a reunion project for the British comedy series *The Inbetweeners*. The plan involves a film – though formats such as a special episode or mini‑series have also been mentioned – that would bring back the original core cast: Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley.

The initiative follows a recent agreement between rights holder Banijay UK and the show’s creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, which was described as paving the way for the series’ return. Negotiations are ongoing, with an official announcement expected in the coming months. The series, originally broadcast on E4, became a cultural touchstone in the UK and previously spawned two successful films.

If realised, the reunion would add new content to Netflix’s library of classic British comedies and aim to attract both longtime fans and a new audience.
