Netflix has announced the global release of the Argentine series ‘Gordon’ on November 18. Directed by Pablo Trapero and Pablo Fendrik, the seven-episode production is based on the novels by journalist and investigator Marcelo Larraquy.
The series follows the life of Aníbal Gordon, tracing his evolution from a common criminal to a figure involved in para-state violence and illegal repression during the 1970s. The plot explores his connections to political violence, union conflicts, and the State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE) during a period of clandestine operations in Argentina.
Rodrigo de la Serna stars as Gordon, supported by an ensemble cast including Matías Recalt, Camila Peralta, Fiorella Bottaioli, Agustín Pardella, Fernando Contigiani, and Agustina Muñoz, with a special appearance by Matías Mayer. The series was produced by Adrián Suar and Diego Andrasnik of Preludio Producciones and filmed in various locations across the Buenos Aires province and Bariloche.
