Netflix releases Colombian mystery series ‘En coma’

Netflix has released the Colombian micro-drama series ‘En coma’ (internationally titled ‘Stolen Heartbeats’). The production, filmed in Bogotá by CMO Producciones and directed by Mauricio Montes, is structured into 50 brief episodes ranging from one to five minutes each.

The story follows Anabel Roldán, an executive who falls into a coma following a vehicle explosion. While hospitalized in intensive care, she discovers she can communicate with Rafael, a nurse who possesses the ability to hear individuals caught between life and death. As Rafael attempts to protect her, the plot explores a conspiracy involving organ trafficking and attempts to prevent Anabel from waking up.
