Netflix to premiere Hindi family drama ‘Dilwali Diwali’ on November 5

Netflix has announced the release of ‘Dilwali Diwali’, a Hindi family drama produced by Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT), scheduled to premiere on November 5, 2026.

The film follows Ansh Sikka, played by Mihir Ahuja, who returns home for Diwali after working abroad to provide a more comfortable life for his middle-class Punjabi parents. While he has purchased them a modern high-rise apartment, the story explores the emotional friction and generational differences that arise when his parents struggle to adapt their idea of home to a new lifestyle.

Directed by Ritesh Menon and written by Ritu Mago, the production stars Mihir Ahuja, Manoj Pahwa, Neelu Kohli, and Aurra Bhatnagar. This project continues the collaboration between Netflix and TTT, following previous works such as ‘Greater Kalesh’ and ‘Musafir Cafe’.
