Netflix to release Spanish comedy series Grande de España

Netflix has announced the upcoming release of Grande de España, a new Spanish comedy-drama series scheduled for October 23, 2026. Created by Juan Cavestany and Álvaro Fernández Armero, the series consists of six episodes.

The plot follows Don Leandro, an impoverished marquess played by Antonio de la Torre, who attempts to maintain his social standing while facing financial ruin. His primary solution is the sale of his family's decaying palace in Madrid. The negotiations involve Sofía Carrington, a wealthy businesswoman portrayed by Alexandra Jiménez, who shows significant interest in the property.

The narrative explores themes of social appearance, wealth, and deception as both characters hide their true intentions and resources during the transaction. The ensemble cast includes Enric Benavent, Fernando Andina, Mercedes Sampietro, Celia de Molina, and Teresa Rabaltras.
