Netflix to remove acclaimed series The End of the F***ing World

The British series ‘The End of the F***ing World’ is scheduled to leave Netflix on November 4. The production, which consists of two seasons and 16 episodes, has maintained a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and received two Emmy nominations.

Originally produced by the British broadcaster Channel 4, the series follows the journey of two teenagers, James and Alyssa, as they embark on an unpredictable road trip. The narrative blends dark comedy, romance, and drama, exploring themes of adolescence and emotional discovery. While often presented internationally as a Netflix original, the streaming platform held limited distribution rights and has decided not to renew them.
