Netflix to remove ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ and other titles

The 2015 action-fantasy film ‘The Last Witch Hunter’, starring Vin Diesel and Elijah Wood, is scheduled to leave Netflix on October 1, 2026. The movie follows Kaulder, an immortal warrior fighting witches.

This departure is part of a significant wave of content removals scheduled for Netflix. Other notable titles exiting the platform on October 1 include ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Ghostbusters’, ‘Gone Girl’, and ‘Clueless’. Various animated films and television series such as ‘Shameless’ and ‘Gossip Girl’ are also slated to depart throughout October.

While many titles are leaving, Netflix has renewed its licensing deal for ‘Seinfeld’, ensuring it remains on the platform. Upcoming removals for November include ‘Paddington in Peru’ and several Universal live-action films.
