Netflix August 2026: Years of Solitude Part 2 & Outer Banks finale
Netflix has unveiled a large slate of original and licensed titles for August 2026 across its global markets. The centerpiece is the continuation of the Gabriel García Márquez adaptation, One Hundred Years of Solitude Part 2, released in two batches – the first seven episodes on 5 August and the concluding episode on 26 August. The streaming service also launches the final season of the teen adventure series Outer Banks (Season 5) on 20 August, bringing the Pogues’ storyline to a close.
Other notable additions include the survival thriller The Last House (7 August), the crime‑thriller film The Whisper Man (28 August), the documentary series Mourinho, the animated comedy Ricky Gervais Alley Cats, and new seasons of My Life with the Walter Boys and Our Sticky Love. A mix of dramas, documentaries, animated series and genre films rounds out the month’s offerings, aiming to keep subscribers engaged throughout August.
