Enola Holmes 3 trailer shows Sherlock kidnapped as detective heads to Malta

Netflix released the first teaser for Enola Holmes 3, starring Millie Bobby Brown as the titular detective. The trailer reveals that Enola, about to marry Viscount Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), learns her brother Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) has been kidnapped. She abandons her wedding to travel to Malta, where "personal and professional dreams collide" on a case described as more tangled and treacherous than any before.

The cast also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan‑Brewster and Jason Watkins. The film, written by Jack Thorne and directed by Philip Barantini, is scheduled to stream worldwide on Netflix on 1 July 2026.

Fans have pointed out numerous errors in a promotional AI‑generated poster for the movie, such as a floating palm tree, mismatched church doors, and a horse without a harness, prompting criticism of Netflix’s use of AI for marketing materials.
