The four‑part series revisits the pop star’s 2003 court case, featuring testimony from people who were present in the courtroom and aiming to give a comprehensive view of the allegations that have surrounded the late singer for decades.

The announcement has provoked a strong reaction from Jackson’s fan base. Several supporters have posted on social media that they intend to cancel their Netflix subscriptions and organize a boycott, accusing the streaming service of exploiting the controversy for profit.

At the same time, a biographical drama about Michael Jackson shown in Slovenian cinemas has drawn more than 53 000 viewers, indicating continued public interest in the artist’s life and legacy.
