Netflix's Musafir Cafe trailer debut draws cast praise

Netflix released the official trailer for Musafir Cafe, a romantic drama that streams from July 24. The series follows Chander (Vikrant Massey) as his life is reshaped by two women – independent lawyer Sudha (Vedika Pinto) and steady companion Preeti (Mahima Makwana) – exploring love across different phases. Created by Sharanya Rajgopal and directed by Ruchir Arun, the show is produced by Terribly Tiny Tales and Homemade Stories and is set against the backdrops of Mussoorie and Bhopal.

Ahead of the launch, Mahima Makwana praised co‑star Vikrant Massey as “the most genuine person,” calling the series a “breath of fresh air.” She highlighted the mountain locations, the collaborative atmosphere on set, and expressed excitement to see audience reactions. The trailer and cast remarks position Musafir Cafe as a thoughtful addition to Netflix’s Indian‑language romantic‑drama slate.
