Netherlands defeats Colombia in Davis Cup series

The Netherlands tennis team secured a victory over Colombia in their Davis Cup World Group I series held in 's-Hertogenbosch. The Dutch team clinched the series with a 3-0 result after winning the first three matches.

In the singles matches, Botic van de Zandschulp defeated Colombian debutant Johan Rodríguez with scores of 4-6, 6-1, and 7-5. Tallon Griekspoor followed with a straight-sets win over Nicolás Mejía, winning 6-2, 6-4. The doubles match concluded the series, where the Dutch pair secured the final point to ensure the Netherlands' qualification for the 2027 Davis Cup Qualifiers. This loss eliminates Colombia from further progression in the tournament.
