China managed a single goal through Zhang Ying via a penalty corner.

The match featured a notable coaching matchup, as the Dutch team led by Raoul Ehren faced China, coached by Alyson Annan, who previously coached the Netherlands from 2015 to 2022. The defeat eliminates China from semifinal contention. The Netherlands will proceed to the semifinals on Thursday.
