Netherlands: Gas leak, criminal activity, and multiple accidents reported
Various emergency incidents and criminal activities were reported across the Netherlands. In Groningen, a major gas leak occurred after a main line was struck at Breweelsterweg in Ulrum, forcing the closure of the N361 provincial road between Ulrum and Leens.
Police arrested two men, aged 28 and 55, for posing as officers in Uithuizermeeden and Loppersum to defraud victims. In Nijmegen, an explosive device attached to a flammable liquid was thrown into a front yard, causing a small fire.
Traffic accidents were reported in several locations, including a collision between two cars near Deventer, a scooter rider injured in Enschede, and a cyclist injured in Hedel. Additionally, two cars were destroyed by fire in Culemborg, and a van overturned on the Hammerdijk between Blankenham and Kuinre.
