Netherlands homeowners receive new energy insulation subsidies

Homeowners in various Dutch regions are receiving new opportunities to access energy-saving subsidies for insulation and ventilation.

In Eemsdelta, residents can now apply for subsidies retroactively for work completed between April 25, 2023, and June 2, 2025. This applies to both professional installations and DIY projects, allowing individuals to reclaim a portion of costs already paid.

In the Parkstad region, a seasonal campaign is underway to assist households in making homes more energy-efficient before winter. The initiative involves several municipalities, including Beekdaelen, Brunssum, Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, Simpelveld, and Voerendaal, in collaboration with WoonWijzerWinkel Limburg. Support includes free consultations with energy-saving coaches and various subsidy tiers. For example, subsidies can reach up to €1,300 for one building component or €2,300 for two. In Heerlen, subsidies may reach up to €4,000, which can potentially be combined with national ISDE subsidies. DIY enthusiasts are also eligible for specific material subsidies.
