Stöppelhaene harvest festival held in Raalte

The Stöppelhaene harvest festival in Raalte is currently underway, featuring a traditional parade of decorated floats. Scouting Raalte secured a victory in the A-category of the Oogstcorso, while the WieKleWes group won the B-category and Luuk Kleverkamp took first place in the C-category.

Organizers noted that the festival is operating with a reduced budget to ensure long-term sustainability. Unlike previous years that featured major international acts, this year’s lineup focuses on artists such as Frans Bauer and the Edwin Evers Band to avoid financial deficits. Despite these changes, the event continues to draw crowds for its parade, local markets, and traditional festivities.
