Netherlands reports multiple emergency incidents and water rescue

In the Netherlands, several emergency incidents were reported over the weekend of September 12-13. These included various fires involving vehicles, waste containers, and a balcony that spread to a residence, as well as a tree falling onto a vehicle.

In a notable rescue, 25-year-old Vera Rebel intervened when she observed a man struggling in the water. After noticing that bystanders and passing boats had not responded to calls for help, Rebel used her electric bike to reach a different entry point and swam to the man. She assisted in pulling him toward the bank, where a medical professional arrived to provide assistance after the man showed no pulse.
