The previous day, 13 June, saw a string of incidents: a residential fire in Amsterdam; a police arrest in Amersfoort; a cyclist injured after a collision with a delivery van in Putten; an oven fire in Gouda; a parcel‑service van overturning into a ditch in Feanwâlden; car collisions in Leeuwarden; and extensive rail‑work that halted trains at Rotterdam Central station.

On 12 June, further emergencies were reported: a highway accident with injuries; a shed fire in Gouda; a container fire in Barneveld; a vehicle accident in Heeswijk‑Dinther; visible damage from a night‑time explosion in Amsterdam; evacuation due to a gas leak in Baarn; a stabbing incident in The Hague; a scooter‑car collision in Lunteren; and arrests of trespassers in a truck in Vlaardingen.
