NetherRealm Studios development chief responds to Injustice 3 rumors

Rumors regarding the development of Injustice 3 have intensified following multiple leaks from motion capture actors' resumes. These documents suggest that characters such as Supergirl and Batwoman may be part of the upcoming roster. While Supergirl is a known figure from Injustice 2, the inclusion of Batwoman would mark a significant debut for the character in the main series.

NetherRealm Studios development chief Ed Boon addressed the circulating rumors on social media. While he dismissed specific claims that the studio is currently conducting external playtests for Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat titles as “all false,” he clarified that a lack of external testing does not mean a project is not in development. Boon noted, “just because a game isn’t currently being tested externally doesn’t necessarily mean the game isn’t in development,” suggesting that the project may still be underway.
