Netinho updates health status following ninth chemotherapy session

Brazilian axé singer Netinho, 60, has provided an update on his ongoing treatment for lymphoma. He recently completed his ninth chemotherapy session and reported experiencing no side effects.

The singer explained that his treatment protocol includes a total of 16 chemotherapy sessions. Following these sessions, he is scheduled to undergo an autologous bone marrow transplant, a procedure using his own stem cells. Moving forward, his chemotherapy sessions will occur at 15-day intervals.

Netinho previously announced in May 2026 that his lymphoma had returned after a period of remission. The recurrence was discovered during medical examinations intended to investigate kidney issues. The artist has been using social media to keep fans informed about his recovery process.
