Netinho withdraws from social media to treat lymphoma recurrence

Brazilian singer Netinho, 60, has announced a temporary withdrawal from social media to focus on medical treatment following a recurrence of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The artist has been hospitalized at Hospital Aliança Star Salvador in Bahia since August 22.

Netinho is currently undergoing treatment for the rare lymphoma, which affects the lymphatic system. His team indicated that updates regarding his recovery will be shared as the treatment progresses. The singer, known for 1990s hits such as ‘Milla’, had previously been undergoing chemotherapy cycles before the disease reappeared in May.
