Netlify Substack AI-Assisted Publishing AI detection content platforms

Netlify announced AI‑Assisted Publishing, a feature that automatically converts documents from tools such as Google Docs and Notion into structured, web‑ready drafts within the Netlify Visual Editor. The service is designed to reduce manual formatting work for creators and allow developers to keep content in sync with site builds.

Substack introduced an AI‑detection add‑on powered by Pangram, letting readers scan posts, notes, replies and comments for AI‑generated text. The detector shows a percentage estimate of AI, AI‑assisted or human authorship for passages longer than 100 words published after July 21. Substack co‑founder and CEO Chris Best noted, "Not everything made with AI is slop, and not all slop is made with AI," and the tool also lets writers add disclosure statements or disable detection on their own content.
