Netmarble announces Global Content Alignment server for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

Netmarble has announced that Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch a Global Content Alignment server on October 13. This update will introduce significant changes to combat, progression, visuals, the game economy, and multiplayer experiences.

Key gameplay additions include a Dual Weapon System that allows players to switch weapons during combat for increased strategic flexibility. The update also introduces a Membership and Battle Pass-focused system, along with new multiplayer features such as Elite Hideout, Honor Points, and an Exchange Post. Improvements to UI/UX, navigation, and visual quality are also planned to enhance the user experience.

Players have the option to remain on the current Western Server with their existing characters. Those who choose to migrate to the new Global Content Alignment server will be eligible for a reward program based on their character progression and cumulative purchase history on the Western Server. A Reward Lookup feature will be available during pre-registration starting September 21. Following the server launch, a Season 3 update featuring a new storyline set in the Stormlands is expected to arrive.
