Netmarble to debut new RPG Pearl in Blue at Tokyo Game Show 2026

Netmarble will showcase its new collectible RPG, ‘Pearl in Blue’, at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, held from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The game is a romantic comedy-themed title featuring 2D animation-style cutscenes where players act as managers for characters known as ‘Knights’ who wield a power called ‘Pearl’.

Unlike other titles being presented, ‘Pearl in Blue’ is a proprietary Netmarble IP developed by Netmarble2. The company intends to use the event to target the Japanese subculture market and strengthen its original content capabilities. At TGS 2026, Netmarble plans to host an interactive booth and provide a playable demo of the game.

In addition to ‘Pearl in Blue’, Netmarble will exhibit ‘Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi’ and the roguelite action RPG ‘Solo Leveling: KARMA’. While the latter two are based on existing popular intellectual properties, the inclusion of ‘Pearl in Blue’ highlights Netmarble’s strategy to expand its own internal IP portfolio.
