Netmarble updates Mongil: STAR DIVE with new character Vivian

Netmarble has announced a major update for its action RPG, ‘Mongil: STAR DIVE’, featuring the addition of the new 5-star character, Vivian. Vivian, who ranked first in a popularity poll for the original ‘Monster Taming’ series, joins the game as a fire-attribute support character and a bunny girl for the ‘Fluffy Tails’ troupe.

To celebrate the update, a three-week special event titled ‘Moonlight Bunny Show’ will be held, offering players rewards such as summoning tickets and training materials. The update also introduces a new epic quest, ‘Greed Collector’, which explores Vivian’s backstory.

Netmarble also released a development roadmap covering versions 1.4 through 1.6. Version 1.4, scheduled for release on September 30, 2026, will include Episode 7, the ‘Gavar Islands’ area, and half-anniversary celebrations. Future updates will introduce a renewed friend system, ranking honor rewards, holiday-themed stories, and new social interaction content.
