NetOn. Live and Macnica to showcase broadcast tech at IBC2026

NetOn. Live and Macnica are set to showcase new broadcast production and media streaming technologies at IBC2026.

NetOn. Live will present updates to its LiveOS software-defined production platform. Key features include a new Production Template Designer for rapid system configuration, native AVID MediaCentral integration for direct file ingestion into AVID NEXIS, and a Panel Builder for custom hardware control mapping. The platform also introduces a Super Slomo feature for sports replay and offers interoperability through OGraf support and various media transport protocols like ST 2110 and NDI across cloud and on-premises environments.

Macnica will demonstrate its focus on expanding Linux support for IP media product development. The company will highlight its MEP100 SmartNIC and M2S Media Streaming SDK, designed to help developers build interoperable ST 2110 products. Macnica’s hardware-based transport approach aims to offload processing from the host server, allowing a single MEP100 to handle up to 32 uncompressed HD flows over dual 100GbE. The technology utilizes zero-copy DMA and NVIDIA GPUDirect to deliver frames directly into GPU memory, optimizing high channel counts for software-defined production.
