Nettuno drug laboratory dismantled by Carabinieri

Carabinieri from the Anzio station arrested a 36-year-old man in Nettuno after discovering an improvised drug laboratory hidden in a wooded area near via Rialto. The operation was triggered by suspicious, continuous foot traffic observed by officers in the dense Mediterranean vegetation.

Upon entering the area, authorities found a campsite shielded by a tent that served as an operational base for refining and packaging narcotics. During the raid, officers seized 10 grams of cocaine and 4 grams of crack, the latter of which had already been divided into 10 heat-sealed doses ready for sale.

Additional equipment seized at the scene included two precision scales, field stoves, metal containers used for cooking cocaine, and various packaging materials. The suspect, who was already known to law enforcement, has been placed under house arrest following a court ruling.
