Nettuno: fatal motorcycle-car collision kills 32-year-old

A 32-year-old man from the Piscina Cardillo neighborhood died following a violent collision between a motorcycle and a car in Nettuno. The accident occurred on via Piscina Tre Cancelli at the intersection with via Arsoli as the victim was returning home from work.

Preliminary reports suggest the collision happened when a car performing a maneuver struck the motorcycle, a Yamaha Mt7. The impact was severe enough to throw the rider several meters from his seat. Although emergency medical services arrived promptly, the victim could not be saved. The driver of the car also required medical attention.

Following the crash, tensions escalated at the scene as grieving friends and family members attempted to attack the driver. The State Police intervened to restore order and secure the area. Authorities have closed the road to traffic to allow for investigations, and a magistrate from the Prosecutor's Office is expected to coordinate the inquiry into the exact circumstances and responsibilities of the accident.
