Netzhoppers prepare for Bundesliga volleyball matches

The Energiequelle Netzhoppers are entering the 2026/27 Bundesliga season with upcoming matches in both away and home settings.

On Friday, October 23, the team coached by Constant Tchouassi travels to Halle to face the Cerebricks VolleyGoats at the SWH. arena. Following a competitive five-set season opener against the Helios Grizzlys Giesen, where they narrowly lost by a single point, the Netzhoppers aim to secure their first victory of the season. Libero Tim Türpe noted the team's resilience in forcing a tie-break during their previous match as a positive sign for the upcoming challenge.

The team will then host their first home game of the season on Wednesday, October 28, at the Paul-Dinter-Halle in Königs Wusterhausen. They are scheduled to play against SVG Lüneburg, a strong league opponent and European cup participant. The young, newly assembled squad, led by Theo Timmermann and Hannes Gerken, seeks to earn their first points of the season in front of a home crowd.
