Netzio.de launches digital service to automate grid connections

Netzio.de has launched a new B2B digital service designed to reduce the bureaucratic workload for electrical tradespeople and photovoltaic installers in Germany. The platform aims to streamline the grid connection process, which currently acts as a bottleneck for the energy transition due to complex paperwork and varying requirements from different distribution network operators.

The service includes a web portal and a smartphone app that allows technicians to capture system data directly from construction sites. Key features include managing grid connection and completion notifications (E. 8/E. 9) for all German grid operators, as well as handling MaStR registration with the Federal Network Agency to secure feed-in tariffs.

The platform is optimized for solar PV systems up to 250 kVA, energy storage units, heat pumps, and electric vehicle wallboxes. Additionally, the service is accessible through the DUPO-Portal.de, an all-in-one solution for small and medium-sized enterprises.
