Neue Scheune campsite near Berlin to be auctioned

The ‘Neue Scheune’ campsite located in Ferch am Schwielowsee, Brandenburg, is scheduled for auction on September 24. The property is situated approximately 30 kilometers from the Berlin city limits and 400 meters from the Schwielowsee lake.

Organized by Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG, the auction has a starting bid of 395,000 euros. The site covers approximately 41,850 square meters and includes a reception building constructed in the early 1980s, sanitary facilities, and six mobile homes. The facility currently accommodates 86 permanent pitches and 25 short-term pitches, along with amenities such as a playground and table tennis tables.

While the business is currently operational and intended to be handed over to a new owner, auction documents note that a significant portion of the land is subject to a hereditary building right (Erbbaurecht) with a remaining term of 66 years. Under this arrangement, the buyer would pay an ongoing interest fee to the landowner.
