Regional festivals and cultural events scheduled across Germany and Austria

Various regional cultural and community events are scheduled across Germany and Austria for late September and October 2026.

In Germany, notable festivities include the Memmingen Jahrmarkt, featuring a new “Geisterhöhle” ghost train, and the Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart, which includes the large-scale Agricultural Main Festival. Musical highlights include the Festival of Nations in Bad Wörishofen and the Musikfestspiele Schwaben in Ottobeuren. Other local events feature the Circus Aramann in Bernburg, the elbrausch design market in Hamburg, and various shopping Sundays and farmers' markets in Harburg, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, and Nuremberg.
