Neunkirchen Zoo hosts fifth annual children's festival

The Neunkirchen Zoo is hosting its fifth annual children's festival on August 15 from 11:00 to 15:30. The event features various interactive stations, including a zoo rally focused on animal knowledge and a jumping activity designed to mimic animals like kangaroos or elephants.

Supported by the Saarland Youth Fire Department and the zoo's falconry, the program offers educational engagement for visitors. Children attending the event receive a free activity card, which can be submitted at the zoo school for a chance to win prizes, including a family annual pass.

A special highlight is reserved for first-grade students: those who bring their school cones (Schultüten) can participate in a unique photo session with a bird of prey at the falconry between 13:00 and 15:00.
