Neuquén and Esquel authorities advance infrastructure and land recovery projects

In Neuquén, a judicial ruling has cleared the way for the final section of the city's coastal walk to be completed. The resolution resolves a dispute over land boundaries in the Bocahue neighborhood, allowing the municipality to proceed with construction along the Neuquén River. Once finished, the project will provide an uninterrupted public route from the Balsa Las Perlas bridge through the confluence of the Limay and Neuquén rivers to Parque Agreste.

In Esquel, local authorities and the Chubut Police successfully recovered approximately three hectares of state-owned land in the Ceferino Alto neighborhood. The operation followed reports from local residents regarding an illegal occupation where occupants had begun installing fences and rudimentary structures. The municipality stated the eviction aims to preserve territorial order and prevent further illegal land seizures.
